We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications that support our core products and services. The role involves translating business and user requirements into reliable backend solutions, developing APIs and backend services, ensuring code quality, security, and performance, and contributing to software architecture throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, support quality assurance activities, perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote the best engineering practices to deliver robust, maintainable, and production-ready software solutions.

👉 Required Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 4 to 7 years of professional experience in backend software development.

👉 Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and server-side applications.
2. Build, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and database integrations.
3. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and production support.
4. Contribute to software architecture, system design, and technical decision-making to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
5. Ensure code quality through clean coding practices, refactoring, code reviews, testing, and adherence to OOP principles and engineering standards.
6. Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability while supporting production environments and hosting infrastructure.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, QA, and Frontend teams, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
8. Integrate third-party services, external APIs, databases, and software components to enhance product functionality.
9. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster knowledge sharing and engineering best practices across the team.
10. Prepare technical documentation, stay up to date with emerging backend technologies, and continuously improve development processes and product quality.
